The Nano-Devices and Sensors Lab is a part of the Centre for NanoScience and Engineering (CeNSE) at Indian Insititue of Science (IISc) in Bangalore. We conduct in depth research on various aspects of Nanoelectronics, MEMS and sensors. Two M.Sc. (Engg) thesis and two Ph.D. thesis from our lab have been awarded the Best Thesis Award.
We also have a strong academic program in the post-graduate and doctoral level. Interested students can apply through the Entrance procedure of the department.
The students desirous of joining my group should have a very good academic record with strong background/interest in one or more of the following branches of Science and Engineering:
Solid State Physics and Quantum Mechanics
Semiconductor Device Physics and Technology
Materials Science and Process Engineering
Electronics Circuit Design
Biotechnology / Bioengineering
